Lathe Safety Systems
CSDVG-8-3-N-1-Lathe
1/2" NPT Combination Solenoid Dump Valve and Gage Assembly, Vacuum Safety System, and Vacuum Interlock. The unit is assembled into a NEMA 12/13 enclosure and runs on 115 V single phase power. The unit comes with two options (quoted separately below): An Electrical Pendant for Vacuum Control or Electrical Twin Foot Pedal for Vacuum Control. The unit has a vacuum safety system that ties into the machine tool e-stop and has a built-in interlock to prevent the release of vacuum while in rotation (must be wired into an output signal from the machine tool or rotary table for this portion of the device to work properly)

VPCE-2-Lathe Hand-Held
The Hand-Held unit has a two (2) button station ("Start" to engage vacuum, "Stop" to disengage vacuum) and has a NEMA 4 enclosure with dimensions of approximately 4" wide by 4" deep by 6" tall. The unit comes complete with fifteen (15) feet of cable for easy operator access into lathe during the workpiece set-up
VFPE-2-Lathe Foot-Pedal
The unit has two (2) foot pedals (left foot pedal to engage vacuum, right foot pedal to disengage vacuum) and has dimensions of approximately 12" wide by 8" deep by 6" tall. The unit comes complete with a safety foot shield to resist accidental activation of the foot pedals with falling objects. In addition, the unit has fifteen (25) feet of "harsh environment" wire to resist premature wear.

We strongly encourage our customers to develop a regular maintenance program for their investments. Keeping your system well-oiled and filters checked on a regular basis insures the the system will be making money for you when you need it most. Routine inspections, oil, and filter changes are all important in maintaining the life span of your system to maximize the return on your investment. While our systems are highly reliable and low-maintenance, a consistent and thorough PM plan on the part of the customer will prevent the chance of a system going down.
