Multiple Line Safety Systems
VSS-8-ML
The safety system is designed to remotely sense the current vacuum level operation of the vacuum chuck. An alarm buzzer (86dbs) and a red warning light are activated to alert the operator if the vacuum level fallen below a pre-determined (yet adjustable) inches of mercury (generally factory set at 20" Hg). In addition, the safety system can shut down the machine tool in mid-operation if the vacuum level drops below the desired setting by wiring the unit's solid-state relays into the emergency stop of the machine tool control. The system includes a vacuum sensor, warning light, warning horn, on/off switch and solid state relays all inside a 14" x 10" x 6" mountable NEMA 12 enclosure with an attached filter and two (2) 1/2" vacuum hose barbs.
VSS-12-ML
The safety system is designed to remotely sense the current vacuum level operation of the vacuum chuck from a single source of vacuum (i.e. central vacuum system operating multiple vacuum chucks). If a leakage occurs at the vacuum chuck in question, an alarm buzzer (86dbs) and a red warning light are activated to alert the operator that the vacuum level has fallen below a pre-determined (yet adjustable) inches of mercury (generally factory set at 21" Hg). The system immediately shuts-off the vacuum supply to the vacuum chuck in question by activating a vacuum solenoid valve. In addition, the safety system can shut down the machine tool in mid-operation if the vacuum level drops below the desired setting by wiring the unit's solid-state relays into the emergency stop of the machine tool control. The system includes a vacuum sensor, vacuum solenoid valve, warning light, warning horn, reset button, on/off switch and solid state relays all inside a 14" x 10" x 6" mountable NEMA 12 enclosure with an attached filter and two (2) 3/4" vacuum hose barbs.
